2NE1 taking the Filipino charts by storm

With recent news that their 1st minialbum title song ‘I Don’t Care’ is flying off on and offline music and album charts, group 2NE1 is also at the same time taking Filipino music charts by storm.

Their previous hit ‘Fire’ is at #2 positions on various charts on local popular MYX site.

The chart results for week of July 19th till July 24th/25th.

It seems that even without promotions there, the girls are pretty much popular because of member Sandara Park’s history there.

This is really something surreal for me..haha…but it brought a lot of memories frm SCQ(a talent show) days. I have to say Boy Abunda one of the judges of that show has nothing but praises for Sandara Park. Gosh i loved that the girls said something in TAGALOG and im sure they’ll be coming here soon..looking forward to that!

I’m sooo happy of the exposure these girls are getting…They are the first Kpop group to be interviewed by a Philippine talk show host (Bianca Gonazales). They are on their way to be famous in the Philippines, really.

filipina here!
oh yes the girls are sweeping the charts here but music video channels are a bit careful of putting the group at the top place because it would be a trigger for issues about the abandon of the local music industry..
but i can generally state that 2NE1’s songs are huge hits particularly in the Visayas region here in the Philippines..
indeed, I hear rumors [and feelings] about the possibilities of 2NE1’s visit in the country especially of Sandara Park’s influence..
but if such case happens..I pray that they’ll bring Big Bang with them..
